Our Testimonials

"James Dean Hicks provides GREAT entertainment for our guests, and is a true partner to our hotel! He is always flexible and easy to work with…..his main goal is to assist us in making our guests’ event be the most memorable time they could possibly experience! He loves making people smile and have fun, and is extremely reliable and cost-effective. I have seen James Dean Turn a group of skeptics into true music lovers and Nashville fans! I would recommend James Dean AND SONGS FROM THE HEART EVENTS for a concert type performance, a keynote speech, or for a wonderful team-building event- a complete joy to work with!"

"We have worked with Chris Brown on numerous occasions. in each instance he has been professional, entertaining and on message. He is a pleasure to work with and Songs From The Heart events always leaves our clients impressed."

"Jimmy Carlos is truly a charming Southern gentleman who will entertain and delight your audience with his wit, stories, and musical talent. He brings entertainment and joy, and songs from the heart to everyone who encounters his SONGS FROM THE HEART show."

"I just wanted to let you know I’ve spent the last hour watching over some of the videos on your website and to say thanks. I’ve been feeling a little swamped, doubtful, and critical of if I can succeed in such an Industry, flying completely solo all the time! While liberating, it can also be such a strain constantly steering a ship with no or limited crew. The vids helped pull me out of my pity party I was throwing. lol. It’s given me back some motivation to keep on trucking, so thanks!"

"James Dean embodies the best of Nashville, he is authentic and inspiring. He delivers one of a kind experiences and leaves clients asking for more. I strongly recommend SONGS FROM THE HEART EVENTS for any event / meeting / speaking / entertainment opportunity. I am proud to work with James Dean and can’t wait to hear him perform again."

"I have had the great pleasure of working with James Dean Hicks on many occasions. He and his Songs From The Heat team have been hired to perform for several of our clients at the Hutton Hotel. They have absolutely loved the experience! He is charming, entertaining and above all extremely talented. I have also made calls with him to potential clients in other cities promoting Nashville. After leaving each office, the women are in love and the men are blown away by his talent. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for a unique and fun experience for their team."
